Where we started, and where we are today
Naia started in Aarhus in 2024 with a simple observation: the decisions that shape a product’s cost, performance, and environmental impact get made early and fast, mostly on gut feel, because the tools available show you the consequences after the fact, not before.
We began close to sustainability. The goal was to help teams see a design choice’s environmental impact at the point it was made, not months later in a report nobody reads in time to act on it. That work held up, and it also showed us the real problem was bigger: sustainability is one factor in a decision that also involves cost, sourcing, risk, and time, and almost nobody has a structured way to weigh all of them together.
That bigger thesis became Naia Spaces: product decision intelligence built to assemble the real tradeoffs in a decision, run a process repeatable enough to trust, and leave behind output you can check and defend rather than take on faith.
Today, that thinking has its clearest, most active home in construction. Naia x Molio pairs it with Molio’s Prisdata, the price data architects and engineers already use, so early cost and carbon decisions rest on something checkable instead of a feeling. It is where the team behind Naia, with backgrounds spanning LEGO, Vestas, Grundfos, and ARLA, is putting the work in right now.
